Getting this hair style with hair wax?

I have never really tried styling my hair before, but im thinking about giving it a shot. I've seen a few hair styles that I would like to try on myself. I know for a fact the person with the hair style that I am trying to match uses hair wax and not gel. Keep in mind the series of pictures are of all of the same person (lol and no I am not gay nor do I stalk this person, I just like the hair style). Also, what are some good wax's to buy for this effect?

those are some pictures of what it looks like. Does this look like its hard to do? How does it look like its done? I just recently got my haircut a couple days ago so I have to wait for it to grow in a little bit. Does it matter what type of haircut you get before you wait for it to grow out? I get fade's wich means the top of my hair is left a little longer than the sides and it gets progressivly shorter as it goes down. Does this matter once my hair grows back out?

i have a similar hairstyle, i use dry wax. its called Crew, and its has a blue laberl on top of it, and it says fiber on it.Getting this hair style with hair wax?
Try using Garnier Fructis Styling Surf Style wax,thats what i use and it works well and holds hair really well and let you have control of your hair really well and totaly different from gel.Im not really sure how to do that exact hair style but just try experimenting,i guess and look at what you get.

I used to keep my hair short to do weird hairstyles, I used hairspray though. I found that it works better than most products on the market. Try Aqua Net, really cheap and has an awesome hold.
no its easy take a shower in the moring put gell in it wokr it back and up easy!
those looks are fairly simple. You can always, gell it kind of spiky when it is wet. But the second pic you posted where it was kind of slicked to the side, I would do that will a wax stick.





It maybe eaier to do this look when the hair is someone dry. Take the wax and rub it in your had and just rub your hands through your hair. Use your fingers to shape and place the hair.
