I've done it quite a few times now and it's ok so far but I was just wondering....
ThanksIf I wax the hair on my lipper lip, can i grow a beard? Would the hair spread on chicks and chin etc.?
It will not spread and it will grow back lighter and more sparse---- read this article!
Waxing
How It Works: A sticky wax is spread on the area of skin where the unwanted hair is growing. A cloth strip is then applied over the wax and quickly pulled off, taking the hair root and dead skin cells with it. The wax can be warmed or may be applied cold. Waxing can be done at a salon or at home.
How Long It Lasts: 3 to 6 weeks
Pros: Waxing leaves the area smooth and is long lasting. Waxing kits are readily available in drugstores and grocery stores. Hair regrowth looks lighter and less noticeable than it is after other methods of hair removal, such as shaving.
Cons: Many people mention that the biggest drawback to waxing is the pain when the hair is ripped out by the root. A person may notice temporary redness, inflammation, and bumps after waxing. Professional waxing is also expensive compared to other hair removal methods. If I wax the hair on my lipper lip, can i grow a beard? Would the hair spread on chicks and chin etc.?
Absolutely not. If you grow a beard, waxing will not be the cause of it.
it might just grow back thicker and darker
if you keep doing it, it will start to spread to your cheeks, and then lead to your neck and chin. I knew this girl in school and everyone at school saw the progressing hair growth, and hers started from her chin
No waxing will not lead to hair growth on other area's of your face, but I do understand your concern!
NO! I've been waxing my lipline for years and .. NO!
If it starts appearing on thin it's as one gets older (as with me) and you start losing estrogen. It's one of the reasons women take hormone replacements.
No, I know ppl who have done it and that hasnt happened. but I would suggest goin to a proffesional and not doin it yourself.
