Have anybody ever waxed their hair down there?

i shave all the time but i never waxed before. how does it feel and did it hurt? when did your hair grow back? i want to know these things so can you help me out.Have anybody ever waxed their hair down there?
There's 2 different ';waxing down there'; Bikini line, that removes only the hair at the sides and a litte at the top if you want.

The other one is ';brazilian';, this one removes ALL the hair, (usually esthetician leave a litte on the venus mount)

I strongly recommend for first timer to get only the bikini line done, so you know how it feels like and gives you time to think if you want to go for the brazilian.

Look for a good salon, don't think about money because this is one of those things when you really don't want to risk your health.

Ask questions, a good esthetician should explain to you the procedure, the risks, and the aftercare.

A good esthetician will use gloves and will never touch you with bare hands. A good esthetician will invest time and very important: she will remove the hair in several strips, not just one or two.

I dont' recommend going for waxing services 3 days before your period, during and after 3 days. This is because we women have less resistance to pain during those days, so the experience would be even more uncomfortable.

Depending on your own type of skin and hair, you can expect seeing hair back in about 3 to 5 weeks.

When you are ready to go, take an aspirin 1/2 hour before your appt.

Good luck!Have anybody ever waxed their hair down there?
I get a brazilian and it HURTS! However, it lasts waaay longer than shaving and looks nice and neat down there! Also, theres no razor bumps so its definitely worth the pain in my opinion. (Plus guys like it :-p
I just got mine waxed down there yesterday. It all depends on your pain and comfort level. I definitely recommend going to a salon that uses blue wax. Personally it doesn't hurt all that much. It definitely beats shaving anyday. It would normally take a week for me to grow back hair about 1/4 of an inch, but with waxing it took me about 3.5 weeks.
No I've never been waxed down there! I just read an article in cosmo about it! It seems very painful! Good luck with that Bogus! Let me know if it makes you cry!
Waxing is the best! It's not really that painful, the anticipation of it is way worse than the actual waxing.

It can cost anywhere from $40 - $100, and the hair usually won't come back for at least a week. I go 4 weeks between waxings, the best part is that if you keep up on it eventually the hair folicle closes completely and stops coming back.

A word of caution, there are a lot of people out there working as waxers that have no idea what they are doing. So, be sure your waxer is certified or (depending on what state you live in) licensed. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with the waxer and the atmosphere.

Good Luck!
Yep and it H-U-R-T-S especially the brazilian ones where they remove ALL the hair and not just the bikini line. It does last longer than shaving and it does illiminate the razor-bump factor (which is personally why I choose to continue waxing). Besides after a while you actually get used to it (or at the very least become familiar with the procedure). I say give it a try if you find it that unbearable then you can always stop or opt to use a hair-removal cream specifically for the hair downstairs. Good luck!
it hurts but it lasts for a bout a day but no worries if u want any other answers the email me k
Brazilian waxes rock. They hurt, but you son't get red bumps like you do with shaving. A product like bikini zone, with salicylic acid to slough off dead skin cells, is also good to use a day or two after to prevent ingrown hairs. I would never shave after getting waxed-the results are superior. Don't try to do it yourself-go to a good salon.
