Question about Gatsby hair wax?

So, I have bought a Gatsby Mat Type Wax from like a year ago and I am currently using Spiky Edge Moving Rubber. I want to know, is the Mat Type Wax the same as Grunge Mat of the Moving Rubber series? I have not tried Grunge Mat yet, since it is more expensive than the rest of the Moving Rubber for some reason but it kind of seems to work the same way as my Mat Type. The only difference that I know of is that Grunge Mat smells like apple and Mat Type has a sort of like a salon fragrance. Is one better than the other? Thank you.
