Some psychologists and sociologists have made a link between the eroticization %26amp; victimization of little girls in the media (think porn, music videos, fashion, magazine ads etc) and the current trend to have a bare pubic area.





If you think about it , only prepubescent girls have naturally bare vaginal areas and girls in porn are often portrayed as ';barely legal';. Current beliefs about beauty and preferred body types also supports this theory if you consider the fact that many men (and women) today prefer female body types that are girlish rather than ';womanly';
so they can wear a swimsuit with out being embarsed!

I have a young daughter who bathes with me sometimes. She made a comment (more than once) about pubic hair and how gross it looks. Actually, it really bothered her. I started shaving soon after and just kept it up.
haha i love how all the men are saying because guy's like it and to please their boyfriends. um no. well maybe that's why a few women do it. most do it because they like the look and feel of it. it feels cleaner and nicer overall. i don't care if my boyfriend likes a big old bush, i would still wax it.
