Looking for a Hair Wax Alternative to Beeswax?

I tried a hair style using beeswax and loved it. But found much to my dismay that I am incredibly allergic to beeswax. I mean neck rashes and face rashes. Is there another styling aid that will behave like beeswax. Most of the waxes I've found online actually contain beeswax, so their useless.





I am African American with natural hair, so I don't want to use any products that are water based because the water will cause my hair to act differently than I want it to and create a totally different style.
