If i wax my lip, will the hair grow back faster, thicker, and darker?

Absolutely not. That is an old wives' tale. Just know that it will grow back. Put some cortizone cream on the waxed area to prevent any bumps or burns after the waxing is done.If i wax my lip, will the hair grow back faster, thicker, and darker?

typically it takes a lot longer than when you shave for the hair to grow back and when it does it is thinner
ive heard that but i'm not sure its true...i know you can use a mild facial hair bleach that would do almost the same thing as waxing and youd avoid the possible regrowth issue
If that was true, then don't you think women that have been waxing since they were in their teens would have a full on mustache?





I have never waxed my lip, but if it's not dark, there is probably no reason to.





If you want to though, wax away, just keep in mind, once you start your probably going to have to continue for the rest of forever.

All waxing or threading does is pull the hair out (hopefully with the follicle attached). Over time the amount of hair you have will thin, as the follicles die, but the colour will stay the same.
None of those are true, there is no scientific proof. When you get waxing done, the hair will only grow back finer and color will be the same.
