I want to get my pubic hair waxed off but have really large inner labia (4-5 in long)... Embarrassed about it!?

Okay I am planning on getting waxed for the first time ever. I had tried shaving, trimming, everything in the book and I always end up bumpy, red, and itchy. Everyone says how great waxing is so Id like to get it done professionally. However, I have VERY large inner labia that exztend 4-5 in. outside my outer labia ande Im extremely embarrassed and self conscious about it. I know every woman is different and labia come in all sizes but I really hate it. Im wondering... How often do you think they professional waxers see people with large labia? Maybe if I find out its quite common they wax people with large labia, ill be brave enough to go for it. Right now, I just am too self conscious. I also have a few other questions about the waxing process...





How long does it usually take and whats the average cost?


How long can most women go without having to get waxed again? Like how many times a month do women have to get waxed on average before the hair grows back? When you walk in and want to get waxedm, what do they tell you to do? Do you have to remove all your clothes, or what?

It happens all the time honey... I work in a day spa and my boss is our lady bits waxer... trust me.. Large labia is nothing compared to what else comes in sometimes....





Just give it a try.. you might find that you're more comfortable with it by the end than you thought you'd be, and it'll be fine. And if it comes down to the end and you're still not sure if you're comfortable, you don;t have to do it again. You'll be fine!

I don't know about waxing, but I think there's a type of surgery you could get to shorten the labia if you're really THAT uncomfortable about it.





But honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. Think about how many vagina they see a day. It's their job, I'm sure they're used to seeing ANYTHING without a second though. Just relax.

Well unless you plan on getting a full wax, you dont to worry about the labia thing.


If you just want a bikini wax, most places will let you keep your undies on.
The other answers are pretty much spot on. But 5 inches long? I'd get surgery to reduce them first, and then worry about your pubic hair later. That's longer than some guys' wangs!
