Does waxing minimalise ingrown hairs and shaving rash?

Does waxing minimalise ingrown hairs and shaving rash?

i get extremely bad shaving rash every time i shave no matter where i shave and i was just wondering if waxing would be a better alternative so as to stop ingrown hairs and the really bad rash. would a hair removal cream also be more suitable ?

thanks

The thing about shaving is the blade takes layers of skin off along with the hair. Hense the extreme skin reaction. I so personaly think that there is less chance of infection around the hair folicle with waxing to just because your not fiddling and irritating as much. But loofa and teetree oil are still musts. It sounds like your skin is pretty sensitive so have a chat with your waxer before hand just to be sure.Does waxing minimalise ingrown hairs and shaving rash?
It definitely did for the ex girlfriend, and I have been told that there is less chance of an ingrown hair, but I have never been the man-scaping type so I don't personally know
